Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: As the Sr Product Marketing Manager here, you will help drive the go-to-market strategy, constantly improve our messaging and positioning, and be a strategic voice of the customer across the org. You will plan and execute impactful product launches, build relationships across the business, enable a growing sales team, and help shape the product roadmap. Reporting to the CMO, you will be a foundational member of the marketing team, and will have a profound impact on the company's success. * Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and new product messaging that compels prospects to engage with us
* Produce a suite of high-quality, differentiated communications materials to support our Sales, BDR, and marketing teams. These can include, product brochures, white papers, videos, webinars, reports, ebooks etc
* Plan and deliver impactful product launches, working closely with counterparts across Marketing, Apps, Sales, and Services
* Be the expert on competition and ensure the sales team knows how to differentiate and de-position them in the field
* Work directly with customers, internal stakeholders and analysts to better understand buyer pains, needs and requirements; work with internal teams to identify key areas of priority for future product development
* Develop compelling packaging and pricing for Upstart's growing set of offerings and capabilities, along with supporting sales tools
* Craft and evolve cohesive presentations that support our GTM process, tailored specifically to design and manufacturing engineers
* Work closely with Content Marketing and Demand Gen on campaign assets for various stages of the marketing funnel
* Become an expert in the customer buying decision, competitors, and the market through ongoing research
* Continuously gather and synthesize insights from prospect meetings, customer interviews, and data from sales tools - to identify ways to improve our messaging, sales process, and product capabilities

* 7+ yrs experience in a product marketing role, or technical marketing role for a manufacturing company
* Master communicator who can distill complex, technical concepts into compelling messaging and collateral
* A high-quality portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write and deliver content
* Experience launching new products and features to market in a fast-paced startup environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build champions with internal and external stakeholders across diverse teams
* Fast learner, deeply curious about technology
* Well-rounded business athlete - equally adept at strategy, analytics, content development, enablement, and operations
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA a plus
