Marketing Manager - Retail
Since being founded by successful entrepreneurs in 2019, this fishing brand has gone from strength to strength and already generated significant turnover that reflects the group's ambitions.
Now, as they look to invest further in the brand and open an impressive store in Billericay, they've enlisted us to find them an equally impressive Marketing Manager to oversee their presences online and offline.
About the role
As the Marketing Manager, you will work with the existing Head of Media, a bright up-and-comer, to develop and implement the well-rounded marketing strategy the brand needs. A strategy that encompasses organic and paid online promotion, PR, the ongoing development of their eCommerce presence (including SEO), online reputation management, email marketing, offline in-store promotions and more.
Ultimately, it will be your job to build, develop, and maintain their brand online and offline and you'll receive the support you need to do that.
It's important to consider that, as a start-up, you'll also be expected to help out in other areas of the business as required. That might mean getting your hands dirty distributing orders or showing your face in-store to assist customers with their purchases. If you're not comfortable with the idea of that, this job simply won't be for you.
To achieve all of that, you'll need to be an experienced marketer with a demonstrable track record of success with brand/s in retail and/or eCommerce.
You'll have strategised, managed marketing budgets, defined target audiences, analysed trends, worked with brand guidelines and overseen organic and paid promotion online. And it'd be a bonus if you've managed offline promotion in a retail environment.
More than that, you won't be afraid to muck in and get involved. You'll have the drive and ambition to help this brand sustain their meteoric rise and, in turn, rapidly grow your career.
It is a hands-on role, so direct experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Advertising, Google Analytics, WooCommerce (or similar), copywriting, and the Adobe Suite will be invaluable to you.
What's in it for you?
The salary on offer ranges up to £40,000, but there may be movement for exceptional candidates. Get in touch for a full list of benefits.
