A new opportunity has opened up within our Creative team for a copywriting thoroughbred – a master of microcopy; a Baronet of the bon mot; an Empress of editorial. As well as ensuring client work is delivered to an exacting standard, we are looking for someone who can champion the written word within the agency, and redefine how our Creative Production team collaborates with others internally. Essential 5+ years working with words (as a copywriter, journalist, content designer or similar) An intimate knowledge of how the written word can be deployed across formats and channels to achieve different outcomes Driven by an infectious passion for copy At home with everything from UX microcopy to longform editorial Experience managing multiple projects and client simultaneously Line management experience Experience across a range of Content Management Systems (SiteCore, WordPress, Umbraco etc.) Expert knowledge of organic search optimisation Desirable Relevant agency experience Comfortable with reporting and data analytics packages Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams on integrated campaigns Reporting to: Creative Director The successful candidate: You subconsciously pick apart ad copy, and have opinions on usage of the Oxford comma. You understand that words are the connective sinew that binds the world together, and you love deploying them to explosive effect on behalf of your clients. You thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment, and are as happy hosting creative workshops as you are knuckling down to hit a deadline.
