Based at The Grand Brighton, this role will manage the implementation of the annual marketing plan for our associate hotel, Richmond Hill Hotel. Responsible for executing the marketing plan with a specific focus on social media and digital communications, the Marketing Executive will work as a key part of the centralised marketing team for both hotels and be happy to travel to Richmond up to two days per week. Your responsibilities will include: • Implementing the annual plan, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy, with a particular focus on digital marketing including social media, blogs and e-comms, with the responsibility to include relevant social media days, holidays, destination-based and trending content • Copywriting, aligning with the agreed tone of voice for consistency and creativity • Ensuring that the website is up to date, audited and content and imagery are optimised at all times using the website CMS • Managing all social media accounts for all departments including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and LinkedIn - delegating, training and managing content requirements including photography and videography as planned • Managing paid advertising campaigns on all social media channels to include seasonal cam-paigns and direct booking promotions, with a specific focus on ROI and reducing CPC • Implementing a regular e-comms plan, including content and promotional planning for all business departments, building email templates and executing sends including data segmentation, with the responsibility to increase open and click through rates in order to achieve higher engagement and revenue from e-comm activity • Supporting the maintenance of customer databases • Planning and producing multi-channel seasonal campaigns and offers for all departments • Producing statistics and graphics for marketing reports, interrogating results and continuously looking to increase efficiency, output and increase the return on campaign activity The ideal candidate will: • Be a proactive and engaged member of a small team • Be comfortable attending face to face briefing meetings and presenting to colleagues • Have a genuine passion for travel and leisure, and a creative eye for design and photography • Be a confident copywriter If you are keen to progress your career with a progressive, people focused independent spirited businesses and this is a challenge that excites you, apply now!
