A new role to develop and deliver the Charity’s social media strategy.

Social Media Manager
Hybrid working between head office and home
Salary: circa £38,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week (substantial part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
Contract: Fixed-term for two years

Are you looking for a new challenge, in a role that is rewarding, varied and critical to the success of a national charity? If so, Lymphoma Action has a great opportunity for a new role within their Communications Team.

You will be tasked with developing a new social media strategy, leading on its delivery and helping the Charity reach as many people affected by lymphoma as possible, as well as increasing engagement with fundraising messaging, appeals and events.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Experienced in social media management, digital marketing and creating engaging content for social media.
  • Skilled in developing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledgeable in the latest trends and best practices in digital and charity marketing.
  • Confident in line management and coaching, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Lymphoma Action has developed a great working culture that focuses on delivering the best outcomes for people affected by lymphoma, as well as prioritising a creative, inclusive and supportive environment. Due to the success of the last few years, the Charity is in a strong position to invest in and develop our marketing and communications work, so the postholder will have the freedom to explore creative and innovative ways to increase our reach, voice and engagement.

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the UK’s fifth most common cancer. We’ve been providing expert information and wide-ranging support for more than 35 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma.
