As a Barclays Social Media and Content Manager, you will have an opportunity to join the Barclaycard Payments Marketing Team who are responsible for delivering the marketing and brand strategy.
The team are experts in marketing, supporting the business in a variety of disciplines, including strategy development, customer segmentation, through-the-line communications, digital experience, sponsorship and advertising.
In this role, you will have a chance to be responsible for all communications to new and existing customers.

What will you be doing?
•   Supporting and delivering against business priorities for Marketing, through the delivery of always-on content and campaign activity
•   Helping to identify trends, generate insights and share best practice
•   Identifying gaps and supporting the conducting of research to inform content themes and activity
•   Managing agencies for the delivery of assets, writing of content, publishing on platforms, tracking and reporting on performance
•   Delivering of paid media activity, working closely with our dedicated media partner to deliver continuous test and learn activities to optimise performance
•   Creating content, in partnership with senior leaders to help elevate the brand’s expertise and show the power behind our experts
•   Reporting of regular social media metrics against KPIs
•   Maintaining governance processes, including securing and recording stakeholder approvals
What we’re looking for:
•   Social media and content management expertise with solid experience managing content for a large brand, preferably B2B
•   Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills – managing priorities across a range of projects/campaigns to ensure timely delivery
•   A very high level of communication skills including interactive listening in order to negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
•   Excellent stakeholder management skills and evidence of managing internal and external partner agencies (creative, media and production)
Skills that will help you in the role:
•   Evidence of managing internal and external partner agencies including briefing process (creative, media and production)
•   Good financial acumen and commercial decision making
•  Experience in content creation tools, planning and publishing on Sprinklr or similar
