Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Content Writer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging, SEO-optimized content for our ecommerce sites, including product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), landing pages, and category pages. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with a strong understanding of SEO best practices, ecommerce content, and how to drive traffic and conversions through high-quality, optimized content. Additionally, familiarity with using generative AI tools to enhance content creation is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize content for product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), landing pages, category pages, and more.
- Leverage generative AI tools to assist in content generation, ideation, and optimization, while ensuring human oversight and maintaining content quality.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase visibility and organic traffic.
- Update and maintain product descriptions, specifications, and other relevant content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies, such as internal linking and keyword placement, to improve SERP rankings.
- Continuously monitor and optimize content based on performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversions, rankings).
- Stay up to date with SEO, ecommerce content, and AI-driven writing trends to ensure the content remains current and effective.
- Assist in creating content strategies that improve the overall user experience and drive sales growth.
- Ensure proper formatting, tone, and style for each type of page, maintaining the brand’s voice and style guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in SEO writing, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools for content creation (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) and how to integrate AI-generated content responsibly.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and Google search algorithms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of HTML and basic web publishing skills is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize content accordingly.
