SEO Account Manager

Ignite Visibility, an award-winning and fast-growing digital marketing agency in sunny San Diego, is looking for an experienced SEO talent to join our team.

The SEO Manager will manage a handful of clients and lead SEO strategy, execution, and client relationship for assignment clients.  This role is fully remote within the U.S. Applicants must live within the 50 U.S. states to be considered. 

Essential Functions

• Lead weekly meetings with clients
• Ensure campaign deliverables are executed
• Provide client reporting
• Make recommendations for client strategy
• Come up with editorial calendar ideas
• Create a client linking strategy
• Manage multiple clients and ensure results
• Assist project managers and jr. project managers on occasion
• Lead internal meetings
• Assist with company strategy

Required Qualifications

• Must have 4 years of experience in Internet Marketing
• Must have 3 years of experience in SEO
• Agency experience is a must
• Must be knowledgeable of on-site SEO and link building
• Must have done a keyword assignment
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must have knowledge of social media and how it relates to SEO
• Must have knowledge of technical SEO items
• Must have knowledge of Wordpress and blogging
• Must have knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn, YouTube

Core Competencies

• Competitive candidates will have 4+ years of experience building effective digital marketing campaigns that grow traffic and conversions
• Extensive experience with technical SEO, content strategy, and user experience
• Demonstrated creative thinking and ability to come up with innovative marketing strategies
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities and manage projects to completion
• Prioritization and task management skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to completion

• Expert knowledge of digital marketing
• Expert knowledge of client management and building positive relationships

• Comfortable being on the phone and Zoom calls to lead client calls
