We are now recruiting for a Senior Marketing Associate on a permanent basis in Singapore.
Job Description
Partnering with Marketing leadership in Market Pillar, contributes to the conversion of client prospects to monetised clients, seeking to convert a qualified client prospect to a marketing qualified lead (MQL) for Brand & Demand (Advertising, SPEX, Marketing Services) or to a marketing qualified lead (MQL) for Intelligence & Advice, and equally for the retention of paid customers and/or promoting subscription renewals. Responsible for SEM and SEO campaigns.
Areas of Responsibility & Accountability:
- Contribute to the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, or to create and execute their own plans, to grow target audience and/or client databases, drive consent to market and encourage target prospects to engage with relevant Informa Tech content, principally Event, Media, Community and Research content, including:-
- Develop and execute innovative and dynamic marketing strategies to drive ROI.
- Define and develop best practice for content creation, distribution and tracking.
- Management, creation and execution of client facing newsletters.
- Build and execute Prospect customer engagement e-mail marketing activities.
- Manage day to day social platforms; contribute to the social media strategy, execute all planned social posts and manage the LinkedIn and Twitter platforms.
- Manage website updates (ongoing updates and uploads).
- Participation in project management activity; partnering with colleagues to collate content for projects.
- Ensure that all market facing materials is on brand. Responsible for monitoring activity, tracking and interpreting KPIs/metrics and reporting back to the business.
- Develop an in depth understanding of the market, target audience and behaviours and ensure content strategies and plans are aligned to targeted demographics.
Best practice/measuring performance/innovation & product development:
- Contribute to best practice marketing environment, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Utilise the Marketing Excellence tools and approach. Driving for continuous improvement.
- Maximises usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
- Tracks and monitors channel performance and ROI of spend incorporating insight and lessons learned into campaigns regularly during the campaign cycle.
- Contributes to reporting processes and providing weekly KPI reporting.
- Collaborates with colleagues within the Market Pillar and beyond with a customer first focus.
Qualifications
- Marketing experience an advantage. Demonstrates the ability to understand the competitive landscape, target audiences, brand propositions and key messages.
- Competent in building and maintaining relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Is able to manage stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, and presentation.
- Prior experience of managing project activity, ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently.
- SEO and SEM experience.
- Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and assume greater responsibility.
