The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are: Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park, along with many more important public spaces that attract a combined 77 million visits each year.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other public spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.
We are now looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As the Senior Digital Marketing Officer, you will create and deliver a range of marketing campaigns and initiatives to support our fundraising and campaigning objectives.
Increasing our brand awareness and marketing through fantastic content creation, you will optimise SEO through blog content, oversee our digital marketing and contribute to our overall marketing strategy.
You will implement digital user journeys that result in cost-efficient data acquisition and sales conversions via all digital channels. Supporting the marketing needs of our public facing teams, you will periodically review all activity and make clear recommendations for optimisation and improvement.
Additionally, you will:
- Research marketing channels to reach new audiences
- Produce copy and publish digital content,
- Manage campaign budgets and assist with setting the annual budget
- Manage relationships with digital agencies and suppliers
- Contribute to events
About You
To be considered as our Senior Digital Marketing Officer, you will need:
- Experience in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns, plans and content
- Demonstrable experience of creating and evaluating successful digital marketing initiatives and campaigns that support fundraising or income generation
- Demonstrable experience in using digital tools and processes to analyse results and amend campaigns accordingly
- Copywriting skills for print and digital platforms, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of audiences
- Good understanding of communications and marketing functions
- A strong understanding of audience segmentation
- Excellent IT skills, including operational use of the Microsoft Office suite, databases, CMS, internet, email marketing systems and social media channels
Experience in a customer facing role, engaging and liaising with visitors, participants, audiences and/or volunteers would be beneficial.
Experience working or volunteering in charities and or social enterprises from the heritage, wildlife, conservation, education and/or wellbeing sectors would also be advantageous.
