We are currently looking for a talented Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist to join our team at the Royal British Legion. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing the organic search channel, ensuring its alignment with our strategic marketing objectives. Collaborating with internal teams such as Social and Content, Digital Development, and external agencies, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing a unified SEO strategy.

Responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and optimising organic search activities to enhance brand visibility and supporter acquisition. As the spokesperson for good SEO practice within Royal British Legion, you will define and manage the role of organic search optimisation in our overall digital channel strategy. This involves designing and maintaining keyword strategies, ensuring appropriate content ranks optimally, and collaborating with the Social and Content team for content optimization aligned with SEO strategy.
Your expertise extends to monitoring keyword ranking, campaign metrics, and site SEO health using various tools. Additionally, you will address technical SEO aspects with the digital development team, manage workflows, and communicate goals effectively to stakeholders within the team and the wider organisation. Your knowledge of SEO techniques, trends, and best practices, combined with experience in planning and executing complex marketing strategies, makes you an ideal candidate to contribute to the success of the Royal British Legions digital initiatives.

You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.
