Paid Media Manager

As the Paid Media Manager at Reboot Online you will have lots of demonstrable experience in producing superior paid media campaigns and managing client accounts. You will take ownership of and work across the Paid Media client accounts. You’ll be genuinely passionate about launching paid media campaigns and working with clients to deliver maximum results.

You’ll take that enthusiasm and use it to confidently grow our paid media offering, making potential clients (existing or new) aware of the paid media expertise we have to offer and how this can help them grow their business. You will support other departments in the promotion and marketing of the service line, always looking for ways in which you can grow the pipeline.

As an assertive and energetic Paid Media Manager you will thrive in high-pressure environments and be keen to share your paid media expertise with the wider team.

Your primary responsibilities will be to develop and constantly improve paid media campaigns for clients, manage day-to-day client relationships, report back to clients on KPIs, prepare and attend paid media pitches, identify and lead on cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and take the lead on the promotion and marketing of the service (via our website and across social media).

Core Responsibilities

Campaign Work

  • Plan and implement paid media campaigns and roadmaps, documenting the work carried out (and planned work ahead) and sharing this with the client
  • Ensure correct tracking is in place to report on campaign results
  • Report back to clients on ongoing campaign strategies and successes
  • Build out campaign dashboards for more effective reporting
  • Schedule and deliver monthly paid media reports as well as quarterly business reviews
  • Making the SEO and Growth Director aware of when these are taking place so they can provide details on any cross-sell and/or upsell opportunities
  • Keep campaigns up-to-date and in keeping with evolving best practises
  • Provide feedback to clients on ways in which they can get more out of their ad campaigns
  • e.g. by flagging any obvious and major CRO/site functionality issues, opening up cross-sells/upsells opportunities when useful and relevant to do so

Account Management

  • Proactively monitor and track client campaign and conversion performance, keeping internal systems up to date
  • Handle client onboarding and development of paid media campaign roadmaps
  • Support on team planning, ensuring hour capacity is used effectively
  • Attend client WIP meetings and write/send WIP email updates
  • Stay ahead of client KPIs, ensuring clients expectations and goals are met
  • Contribute to client pitches/renewals when requested
  • Attend client meetings inc. QBRs and contribute to cross-team client reports
  • Keep track of client satisfaction levels and make senior leadership team aware of any ‘at-risk’ paid media clients
  • Flag any potential opportunities to cross-sell and/or upsell other services offered by Reboot to paid media clients

Training & Line Management

  • Lead on paid media executive training; buddy up to talk through Reboot’s standard operating procedures and lead training workshops
  • Put the teams deliverables through their paces; being able to identify what hasn’t worked so well, and apply these learnings to future campaigns
  • Motivate the team to hit their client objectives, providing support and guidance to help them do so
  • Line manage Executives inc. but not limited to: Probation, performance and annual reviews
  • Create training documentation and Standard Operating Procedures that can be shared with the wider team and used to streamline processes + campaign activity

Additional Expectations

  • Proactively put forward ideas on how we can promote the Paid Media service, and get marketing collateral in front of potential new clients
  • Plan and launch paid marketing campaigns for the Reboot website and brand to help with lead generation (and work to proactively refine, test, and improve those campaigns)
  • Provide content and collateral to the marketing team to use in social posts to promote the service (and promote the service yourself too)
  • Regularly contribute to the Reboot website by planning, writing and publishing content (both commercial and informational content) about the service to help promote it
  • Put forward ideas for and support on thought leadership pieces related to the service
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and work with the Growth team to develop them and win new paid media retainers
