About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant to join the Credit Card Acquisition Marketing team, as part of the Cards & Merchant Services (CMS) organization within the Consumer Lending group. This role will manage and implement acquisition marketing initiatives for the credit card business while collaborating closely with product owners, acquisition marketing channel leads, and other marketing centers of excellence.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, manage, and implement acquisition marketing initiatives for all credit card products across various marketing channels, this could include developing marketing strategies and business cases, managing marketing launch plans and executing on campaigns
  • Provide strategic consulting to product partners; work closely with partners to prioritize and identify resources and capabilities needed to support marketing objectives
  • Facilitate discussions between credit card product partners and marketing leadership to gain alignment on priorities, channel strategy and timing of marketing launch across various channels for prescreen offers, wellsfargo.com, email, credit card aggregator and direct mail
  • Partner with Enterprise Marketing and Credit Card Marketing centers of excellence for marketing channels, marketing acquisition capabilities, list execution, optimization to facilitate and help prioritize needs of all card products in general purpose, Cobrand and Small Business
  • Identify new opportunities to grow Wells Fargo credit cards through ongoing assessment of marketing capabilities, acquisition offers, product enhancements, consumer trends and the competitive landscape
  • Ensure adherence to legal, compliance, privacy regulations, and policies and procedures related to marketing

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Marketing experience in consumer lending, preferably in credit card
  • Experience in targeting and direct marketing
  • Strong project management skills including the ability lead and coordinate deliverables to successfully launch initiatives
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Experience navigating through ambiguity
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
