Group Social Media Executive:

We are very excited to commence the search for a social media executive who will help define our social and influencer strategies across all our markets (the UK, Ireland and USA) and support in content creation for our channels.

You’ll be part of a broader marketing and customer-focused team, working collaboratively to reach and engage new and existing customers. Social is our always on broadcast channel, but it is also an opportunity to have a two-way dialogue with our customers.

You will be a social media guru, with proven experience of leading and delivering organic social media plans, ideally in a consumer, hospitality or e-commerce brand.

Work somewhere awesome:

Established in East London in 2006, Hawksmoor is a collection of award-winning British steakhouses across the UK, Ireland and US. Shortly after being named the best steak restaurant in the world, we became a certified B Corp in 2022 and ranked in the top 100 Best Companies for 13 consecutive years. This is alongside being rated as one of the most sustainable restaurant groups in the country and raising over £2 million for Action Against Hunger, as well as supporting several charities closer to home.

Duties Include:

  • Working alongside the Group Senior Content Manager to develop and present the organic social media strategy in-line with the marketing objectives and seasonal calendar
  • Support with all social media planning, daily scheduling, community management and reporting.
  • Support in planning organic content across our UK Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook & Twitter pages.
  • Work closely with all our restaurant teams to ensure frequent localised communications are shared on the regional social channels.

  • Editing of videos and photography as required
  • Using Adobe Suite to create assets for campaigns and channels
  • Regular support in coordinating content shoots, booking restaurant spaces, arranging diaries and other shoot requirements.
  • Work with the creative team and wider marketing team to brief in social assets needed for all organic content.
  • Support the Group Senior Content Manager in delivering the global social media strategy to drive audience engagement, retention, and growth across all markets, channels and platforms

Desired experience:

  • Experience in social media, preferably within the hospitality, food, e-commerce or restaurant industry.
  • Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, and community management.
  • A degree in digital communications, marketing, advertising, media, business and/or related fields would be preferable but not essential
