We are currently looking for an Ecommerce Content Assistant to be a part of our Manchester based Ecommerce team. The assistant will support the Ecommerce Executive with the day-to-day running of the Nasty Gal Site & App. As an organised and detail orientated person you will be responsible for ensuring that all products, campaigns and promotional activity launches on time and in line with the business strategy

What You’ll be doing

  • Ensuring products are published and categorised on time through effective taxonomy and product attribution
  • Ensure all products go live with all the correct data and components
  • Support the exec with management of categorisation rules, making suggestions for improvements
  • Review performance of these pages and categories using tools such as Google Analytics or Content Square and share with the team and business
  • Responsible for delivery of promotions, ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly
  • Work closely with IT and Marketing to delivery effective content changes and promotions across the websites
  • Support Ecommerce Executive with management of sort rules
  • Carry out regular site walks to identify any issues or opportunities and feedback to the Ecommerce Executive and Senior Executive
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on competitors in the different markets and the trading conditions and present this information on a weekly basis.
  • Suggest improvements to processes to increase productivity
  • Support wider ecommerce team with testing of any new functionality as required such as creating new categories and collection pages as required and work with the SEO team on optimising these pages to help improve google rankings
  • Help deliver daily, weekly and any ad hoc reporting
  • Build relationships with peers across the business including buying, merchandising, brand content, creative, marketing and amongst the wider business
