We are looking for a seasoned professional to assume the role of Director, Paid Social, Video, and Display. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful campaigns across paid social, video, and display channels.

Media Management:

  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously optimize campaigns for maximum performance and return on investment, using methodologies such as MMM, incrementality, and attribution reporting.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to interpret campaign analytics and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to refine and enhance campaign effectiveness.

Leadership and Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy encompassing paid social media, video, and display advertising to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of campaigns to achieve business goals and enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee team to track and analyze performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to leadership, highlighting key metrics and areas for optimization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices to ensure a competitive edge.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide guidance on campaign development, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for skill development within the team.

Cross-Channel Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other marketing teams, including content, SEO, and email marketing, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to overall marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure seamless integration and alignment of paid social, video, and display campaigns with other marketing channels, including email, SEO, and traditional advertising.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for paid social, video, and display campaigns, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and report on budget utilization, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Paid Social Media Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across paid social channels.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with influencers to create authentic and compelling content aligned with the brand.

To join our band, you’ll need the following experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on paid search, paid social, video, and display advertising.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, executing, and optimizing large-scale digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant digital marketing tools and platforms.

Pay Rate: $185,000 $204,000/yr depending on background and experience.

This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
