The Director of Social Media Marketing will be responsible for comprehensive organic social media, reputation management, content capture (photography, video, 3D), as well as brand ambassador, influencer and content creator strategies across Arcis Golf’s corporate and club portfolio and organic social media platforms.

This role combines creative direction, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to elevate the brand’s digital presence and drive engagement across all organic social channels, including Facebook, Instagram/Threads, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, local listings, GMB and others as needed.

The position reports directly to Chris Crocker, Chief Marketing Officer, and plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s digital narrative and social media community engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Planning & Delivery
  • Develop and implement comprehensive organic social media strategies aligned with corporate objectives and individual club goals
  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices, as well as identify and evaluate new social platforms and technologies
  • Develop innovative campaigns to drive engagement and growth
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of social media best practices and guidelines for both corporate and club-level communications
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure success, optimize performance across all platforms, and provide regular reporting on channel and content performance
  • Monitor social media analytics, engagement rates, and industry trends to implement innovative social media tactics to maintain competitive advantage
  • Content Curation and Management
  • Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of compelling content across multiple channels including social media, website, email, and digital platforms
  • Manage the production of high-quality multimedia content including long form sizzle reels and drone videos, short form videos, high-res photos, 3D matterport models, articles, and other social media assets
  • Plan roadmap and build out the Arcis organic social media, brand ambassador and creator content calendar across platforms
  • Work with the field/MRCs on club content calendars that support membership initiatives, private events, tournaments, pillar programming, ROI projects and more
  • Coordinate with clubs to capture and showcase local events, tournaments, and member experiences and to create locally-relevant content marketing
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistent quality standards
  • Reputation Management
  • Monitor and manage online presence across all social platforms, listening platforms and review sites
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing and improving online reputation
  • Create response protocols for customer feedback and crisis management
  • Train and support club-level teams in reputation management best practices
  • Brand Ambassador and Influencer Management
  • Identify, evaluate, cultivate, and manage relationships with national brand ambassadors, as well as local, regional, SME, industry influencers and content creators who align with the brand and business objectives
  • Negotiate, support, and manage content creator partnerships, including contract terms, deliverables, marketing campaigns (that are aligned with business objectives) and performance metrics
  • Develop creative briefs and campaign guidelines for influencer, content creator and brand ambassador collaborations
  • Track, monitor, measure and optimize influencer, content creator and brand ambassador campaign performance to maximize ROI

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in social media marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies across channels
  • Experience in hospitality, golf, or luxury lifestyle industries
  • Experience with enterprise-level content management systems and managing multi-location content strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics and ROI measurement
  • Excellence in project management and team leadership
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of non-digital and digital marketing and social media strategies
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, agencies, and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
