At a glance:

  • Salary range – £33,800.00 – £51,000.00
  • Contract type – This position is a 12 month Fixed Term contract 
  • Working pattern – This is a blended working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises. 

About the role:

As the Digital Performance Analyst within the JLFS Marketing Measurement and Effectiveness Team, you are responsible for combining multiple data sources to support the ongoing reporting and measurement of all marketing activity. You will ensure that the Marketing Team are able to report on their KPI’s using the most recent and accurate data.

You will also be required to perform deep dive analysis for the Marketing Team, and present back insight, findings and recommendations on budget allocation and marketing effectiveness.


What will you be doing?

  • Supporting a collaborative and motivated team environment, giving and receiving regular and honest feedback to colleagues to improve the performance of self and team.
  • Be the go to person for the marketing team and wider business on all things marketing data.
  • Maintaining reports and dashboards, ensuring that data is accurate and of a high standard and that data is visualised in a clear and accessible format.
  • Joining multiple data sources together for the purposes of reporting or deep dive analysis. Being able to work with large data sets.
  • Storytelling and being able to translate raw data into insights that the marketing team are able to optimise towards, demonstrating a sound knowledge of statistical methodologies and applying strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Working with digital analytics platforms including but limited to GA4 and/or Adobe analytics.
  • Supporting the Marketing Measurement and Effectiveness Manager and Senior Digital Performance Analyst to build out and deliver a testing and measurement roadmap.
  • Working with the Marketing Team and third party agency partners to scope out and implement tracking for new channels and campaigns.
  • Ensuring that all work complies with the Data Protection Act and adheres to all Partnership risk management and data security policies and methodologies.
  • Investing in your personal and professional development, utilising the opportunities available to you to develop your skills and capabilities.

Essential skills you’ll need: 

  • Advanced numeracy and Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUPS, IF AND OR statements, Pivot tables).
  • Working knowledge of web analytics platforms (GA4 or Adobe) and marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and platforms
  • Experience using relational databases, able to write simple SQL queries and perform joins.
  • Experience creating engaging data visualisations using a data visualisation tool (Tableau preferred)
  • Great communication and problem solving skills with an ability to build great relationships.

Desirable skills you’ll have:

  • Knowledge of website tagging using GTM or Ensighten
  • Experience coding in Python
  • Financial Service industry experience
