This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Ecommerce Marketing team as a Copywriter.

If the idea of writing for one of the biggest online fashion retailers sounds like the kind of role that would get you excited, keep reading…

We’re on the hunt for a copywriter. So if you are fascinated by fashion, have an instinct for interiors or a beau-mance with beauty, then we want to hear from you.

No day (or week) is the same, so you’ll be dynamic, creative and able to take ownership of any project that’s given to you. You’ll work well as part of a team, but enjoy the balance of hybrid working too – continuing to hit targets, have presence and take charge of your workload wherever you are.

You will work collaboratively alongside a number of business areas within Next including the SEO team, trading teams, buyers, merchandisers, content and design teams – so you’ll be a confident, excellent communicator and all-round lovely person.

About the role

  • Support the Ecommerce Copy Team and wider online team with copy for site launches, refreshes, landing pages and ad-hoc campaign copy.
  • Write product descriptions for Next fashion and home items, third party brands and beauty, hitting a daily target and keeping the copy in line with SEO feedback.
  • Create copy for app updates, online and in-app promotions, partner emails, paid ads and social media posts.
  • Work to create and maintain the Next tone of voice across all areas of copywriting.
  • Identify, implement and drive improvements through your insights.
  • Strive to make Next a market leader.

About you

  • You will be an accomplished copywriter having spent 2 years within a similar role.
  • You’ll have an enthusiasm and love for copywriting, ideally in fashion and home that goes beyond your 9-5. You’ll live, breathe and embrace the world of fashion.
  • You’ll be curious, not afraid to question, organised and excited by a challenge.
  • You will have great attention to detail.
  • You will have good communication skills and be able to effectively work with members of both the immediate and wider team.
  • You will be highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude and able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
  • You will have noticed the continuity break in the sentences above with the change in familiarity from ‘You’ll’ to ‘You will’.

Benefits

  • Annual company performance based bonus
  • Sharesave scheme
  • Pension 3% Employer/ 5% Employee
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (can also buy/sell up to 3 days)
  • 25% staff discount and free next day delivery to desk for online purchases
  • Subsidised restaurant, coffee shop and juice bar all onsite at head office
  • Free car parking
  • Outstanding subsidised Nursery onsite at head office
  • Staff shop onsite at head office

The recruitment process will involve a series of activities including a 1st stage and 2nd stage assessment/interview.
