Role Overview
The Kantar Marketplace team is hiring a Content Marketing Strategist to lead strategic storytelling, influence campaign strategy, and raise awareness of our brand!
This role aims to establish us as a leader in the market research platform industry and shape demand generation activities. You’ll collaborate with various teams and report to the Senior Director, Product Marketing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop thought leadership and editorial content that builds the Kantar Marketplace brand.
- Collaborate on campaign strategy, partnering with Product Marketing and Demand Generation. Build content maps, suggesting content topics and formats crafted to nurture prospects through the buyer’s journey.
- Build demand generation content, collaborating with vendors and internal collaborators. Content may include website text, blog articles, emails, social media posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and presentations, etc.
- Take ownership of the Kantar Marketplace voice and ensure its consistent application throughout all marketing content. Offer mentorship on the most effective tone and consistently set a higher standard for copywriting quality.
- Lead the editorial planning for Kantar Marketplace blog content, working with internal SMEs and external ghost writers as needed to produce engaging thought leadership.
- Team with Public Relations to generate storylines and marketing activations that will generate press coverage and resonate with online audiences.
- Develop a social media editorial calendar in support of brand awareness and demand generation goals. Team with creatives on execution as needed.
- Collaborate with both external vendors and internal collaborators on content production and continuously enhance content quality. Manage the Kantar Marketplace editorial calendar and ensure marketing leads in each country are aware of the content pipeline.
- Apply data-driven insights to generate content ideas and continuously enhance content performance.
Key Outcomes
- Level-up platform thought leadership, drive awareness and cement Kantar Marketplace as a leader in the market research platform space.
- Develop a robust 360-degree content marketing program that builds the Kantar Marketplace sub-brand and feeds the sales funnel.
- Increase marketing qualified leads, working in collaboration with the team to nurture prospects meet overall Kantar Marketplace business objectives.
Experience & Capabilities
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Content Marketing and/or related roles. A mix of startup and large enterprise experience is preferred, including some experience with software as a Service (SaaS) products.
- Driven by achieving outcomes, with a proven ability to implement effective content marketing initiatives that generate growth. Capable of thinking holistically and executing tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with key measures of content and campaign efficiency. Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based on data.
- Knowledge of the buyer’s journey and content mapping, and the ability to bring these tools to bear in structured content planning.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and the ability to bring to bear keyword research for content ideation.
- Proactive solution-seeker who brings fresh approaches to the organisation. Takes initiative to bypass roadblocks and thinks creatively on how to accomplish organisational goals.
- Comfortable working with diverse, matrixed collaborator groups, with the ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Capable of working at a fast pace, both independently and as part of a team.
- As part of the interview process, you’ll be asked to provide a portfolio or examples of previous content work.
