As Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling digital content that raises awareness of our behind-the-scenes and frontline work for members, spotlights the impactful work of solicitors, and promotes our products and services.

You’ll lead a team of two executives to create new blogs, videos, and audio content (working collaboratively with your social media, communications, and marketing colleagues). These will be published across our website, email, and social media channels.

Working with the Digital Communications Lead, you will produce effective plans and processes that will allow you and your team to publish a consistent stream of engaging, relevant, tailored, and creative outputs.

Crucially, you will use your experience to ensure our outputs are both based on audience insights and deliver on our strategic and commercial goals.

What we’re looking for:

  • You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of identifying and writing compelling stories that engage different audiences.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of delivering engaging and compelling content that is tailored to specific audiences.
  • You will have strong line management skills and the ability to empower others to deliver their best work.
  • You will be able to quickly understand complex or technical issues and translate that into engaging and easy to understand communications.
  • You will also have a good understanding of latest trends and best practice in creating engaging digital content.

What’s in it for you

This is an excellent opportunity to work with contemporary thinkers in a progressive membership organisation. The successful candidate will join a strong brand with a reputation for excellence and legal expertise, committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and a culture of trust, clarity, excellence, and respect.

We offer hybrid working, a generous flexible benefits package, a friendly working environment and the opportunity to develop your career within a professional organisation.

Please note: if you are an internal applicant, Pay Policy will apply.

The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession’s regulators, government, and other decision makers, to offering training and advice, we’re here to help, protect and promote solicitors.

If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role, please contact Eddie Bingham.
