Salary: £37,694 (National Framework) or £42,863 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £529 per annum for those working from home.

What you will bring…
To be considered as our Communications Manager, you will need:
- Experience of developing, planning and evaluating effective communication and brand marketing strategies
- Experience of briefing and managing staff and third-party suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to translate complex issues persuasively, creatively, and clearly for a variety of audiences
- Strong understanding of the full communications mix
- Strong editorial and project management skills
- Strong understanding of accessibility and usability
- A degree, or equivalent work experience
What you’ll be doing
As our Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and delivery of our marketing and communications activity.
Overseeing and shaping our editorial direction and brand development, you’ll ensure our brand identity, guidelines and messaging is consistent across the organisation and continually improved.
You’ll lead the delivery of our integrated communications strategy, engaging our diverse audiences with tailored content and managing and evaluating a range of marketing projects.
Additionally, you will:
- Develop staff and provide advice to national and local colleagues
- Ensure the development and delivery of high-quality communication products, projects and campaigns
- Ensure internal, client and third-party resources deliver against agreed timeframes, quality and budget
- Line manage Communications Officers
