We’re looking for an Assistant Social Media Executive brimming with creativity to bring a new wave of innovative ideas and crafted content to our social media clients.

The ideal candidate will come with both some graphic design and filming skills that they’re looking to flourish within this creative role.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be hands-on working on MintTwist internal social profiles and client profiles in a range of sectors.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms to share your original ideas and see them brought to life in expansive digital campaigns.
  • Be a part of the full content creation process, from filming and editing TikTok videos to graphic design and imaginative copywriting.
  • Assist with day-to-day social media management, including scheduling, publishing, and community management through Sprout Social.
  • Take centre stage, acting as the face of social video content.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and create reactive content. Also, helping the team stay up to date on the latest platform updates
  • With time, you will develop monthly reports to share performance with our clients and recommend adjustments for the coming month’s content.
  • You will report to our Director of Social Media while working closely with our Social Media Executive and Marketing Designer.
  • Work on and collaborate with the broader marketing and communication strategy execution, collaborating with our paid media, PR, and potentially SEO teams too.

Who are you?

  • An incredibly creative individual, ready to put your creative skills and ideas to practice.
  • Has an eye for design, aesthetics, and visual storytelling. Plus, incredible attention to detail.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to create engaging video content with snappy transitions via mobile.
  • On-camera confidence. A hand-raiser when it comes to features in video content, with the ability to appear naturally engaging and confident on camera during live or recorded sessions.
  • Live and breathe social media and ready to take on the next challenge. Can demonstrate knowledge of platform best practices and how to adapt content to fit differing channels.
  • Has some Adobe Photoshop / Premiere Pro / design software and/or video editing skills which you’re keen to progress further.
  • Good understanding of branding and marketing.
  • Shows initiative and is a problem solver.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Impeccable organisational and time management skills.
  • A team player and collaborative nature.
  • Any experience in video filming, lighting, framing and/or creating podcasts is a huge benefit.
  • Ideally holds a Batchelor’s degree in a marketing or design-related course, but not essential.
