The Assistant Brand Manager (deodorants) role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager – Deodorants, and this role will allow you to work on Australia and New Zealand’s biggest Deodorants brands, with a particular focus on Lynx.

Within this role, you will be a catalyst to the brands strategic choices, product, and commercial innovations, disruptive communication plans, and branded activations across all media and consumer touchpoints, leveraging data, insights, creativity, and innovation to achieve success.

  • Permanent full-time role with hybrid (WFH + Office days) working arrangements
  • Office locations: Sydney CBD & North Rocks
  • You will report to the Deodorants Marketing Manager and work with a passionate and dynamic team in Sydney

Role responsibilities

  • Champion the voice of the consumer by bringing insights into the business and becoming a custodian of the brand
  • Build growth driving, consumer led insights into new projects and core development plans
  • Build the 6Ps marketing and execution plan for your assigned brand including a focus on 360 campaigns as well as in-store and online execution
  • Collaborate cross functionally as a project lead to explore, lead and manage core brand projects and incremental opportunities
  • Work alongside global brand teams to adapt and localize plans for the local ANZ market
  • Engage with agency partners to create bold, disruptive, and unmissable brand plans and amplify across a range of digital channels.
  • Write relevant and compelling briefs and work in collaboration with agencies to localize and execute digital first ATL plans targeting key audience segments
  • Day to day budget ownership for assigned brand, artwork briefing and POS design and execution across the calendar year
  • Develop engaging and inspiring brand/sell in presentations for internal and external partners

  • Team player with a strong desire to learn and grow. Goal driven, with an ambition to deliver extraordinary results every time
  • Presentation and storytelling skills
  • Budget management – previous exposure to managing spend and independent workload management
  • Strong analytical skills – previous exposure to scan data and consumer research

Does this sound like You

  • Tertiary qualifications in business/marketing preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Learnt knowledge of marketing – experience of brand campaigns/implementation and project management
  • Leadership (in or outside of the workplace)
