We are seeking a Community Management & Social Media Executive to join Disney Destinations International (DDI) on a permanent contract within our Hammersmith office (London based).
You will support the attendance, room nights and revenue goals for Disneyland Paris (DLP) for UK & Ireland.
The role is split into 2 areas, both with the Social media marketing area:
•Launch and ongoing management of the DLP UK community chat to support guests’ questions and increase bookings through Consumer Direct,
•Working with the central DLP Social media team to develop and implement social assets to support the UK & Ireland business.
DISNEYLAND PARIS UK COMMUNITY CHAT MANAGEMENT
Launch and manage a new UK community chat service for guests to support their book & help them answer questions and plan their trip to DLP:
-Implement recruitment plan and select community members,
-Manage the day-to-day messaging, monitoring and moderation of Dream Team Community on iAdvize platform,
-Respond to community members queries in a timely manner,
-Work closely with Central DLP team to guarantee alignment on community management from one market to another,
-Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to guarantee alignment on product launches and messaging beats,
-Liaise with DLP product and operation teams to stay updated on product and service updates and gather information to feed community,
-Establish and track KPIs via regular reports and actionable insights,
-Organize and participate in events to build and reward community.
DISNEYLAND PARIS UK SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Ongoing development of creative & assets to support the UK Social strategy and drive engagement & bookings:
-Optimize the EMEA Social Editorial Line to better fit with UK community (Facebook),
-Provide engaging copywriting for DLP Social Media,
-Work closely with the Central team to develop local assets (photos, videos) for DLP social Media,
-Interact with our customers in a timely manner,
-Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends,
-Set reporting to monitor the activity,
-Find opportunities to do synergies with other TWDC Line of Business in terms of Social Media,
-Work with the Trade Team to share Social assets with them,
-Working with Walt Disney Company Social team to source contra marketing opportunities to place DLP social message on other Disney company social channels.
-Degree in Marketing is preferred and Marketing experience in a major multi-national marketing environment,
-Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role,
-Understanding of Social media management & digital marketing,
-Demonstrated strategic and tactical skills related to implementation of marketing and sales plans and recommending resources necessary for success,
-Exceptional negotiation, organizational, project management and communication skills to balance marketing programs across three brands for optimal execution and success,
-Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs,
-Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver,
-High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
-Basic knowledge in Photoshop,
-French language skill is a plus.
Travel to Disneyland Paris for a few days a month to spend time with the Central Social Media team.
