Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager required for our Colchester based client due to substantial growth. This position of Social Media and Digital Marketing manager is brand new positions and you will be responsible for the management of the companies digital marketing and social media activity, delivering online & email campaigns. Within this role you will be working to agreed set targets in managing ecommerce channels including amazon, ebay and magazines to you. It is imperative to be considered for this position of Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager that you possess strong social media and digital marketing experience, have worked with ecommerce and can bring lots of new ideas this role with the aim to really develop the company’s brands across all digital platforms. This position would be ideal for someone who has worked within a digital agency seeking a role where this broad experience can be used internally within a company.
Creating, editing and approving content for Facebook, Twitter, linked in, e-mails & relevant websites
Ensuring content is optimised for search engines.
Responsible for managing the website pop up / catfish ad schedule.
Help maximise traffic and conversion rates from both paid for activity Google AdWords accounts as well as magazine websites.
Oversee management of ecommerce store include revenue targets
Management of the implementation of digital marketing activity
Shared responsibility for increasing traffic & conversions to all key websites
Helping to manage email marketing via ESP planning and scheduling to hit agreed targets including implementation of new software developments
Working with the marketing team in creating and approving posts and content for social media channels including paid for ad’s.
Implementation of affiliate window schemes
Support the marketing team with their digital needs and contribute to maximising income providing advice and best practices and suggested approaches as appropriate.
Use Analytics to report back on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and social media activity.
Commissioning of agencies, contractors, volunteers, where appropriate.
Must possess strong digital marketing experience
Previously worked on ecommerce sites
Have a strong social media experience
Google Adwords experience
Ideally previously worked within a digital agency but not essential
SEO and PPC experience
Abel to work to tight deadlines
Good team player but equally able to work on own initiative
