Whether it’s arranging the delivery of oil equipment to a remote location, organising flights for a Premier League football team, or booking private jets to an island resort, the sky’s the limit when it comes to the charter business.

Working as part of our small, but growing digital marketing team, we require a Digital Marketing Executive to support and improve our content and communication strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with our in-house content and communications specialist and have a defining role in email marketing, social media, and content, as well as other areas of digital marketing.

Key responsibilities:

Email Marketing

  • Segmenting large amounts of data for targeted email marketing campaigns.
  • Building HTML email marketing templates, testing and initiating campaigns.
  • Assisting the global marketing team with email marketing issues and guidance.
  • Reporting on email marketing results – liaising with relevant non-marketing staff.
  • Introducing automation into our email marketing strategy (trigger campaigns etc.).

 

Social Media and Content

  • Working closely with colleagues from around the world to create engaging posts for personal social media accounts (LinkedIn).
  • Assisting with the daily creation of the company’s social media posts schedule, across all platforms.
  • Planning new ways to leverage social media platforms to increase our brand visibility within our target sectors (influencer programs etc.).
  • Managing relationships with external copywriter/content production agencies to ensure a regular stream of relevant, high-quality content is received and utilised.

 

Skills required:

  • Very strong understanding of all social media channels.
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing concepts, strategy and best practices.
  • Experience using Google Analytics or other reporting platforms.
  • Experience using an email marketing platform.
  • Experience using a content management system.

 

Personal specifications:

  • This role would suit someone that’s genuinely interested in social media and communications, with interest in utilising these channels for growth. We have a diverse and evolving global product offering, and we see social media, email marketing and content to be a key aspect of our marketing strategy.
  • An entrepreneurial approach to work is essential – whether that means researching and learning skills on the go or solving problems when no one else has the answer.
  • A pragmatic approach to workload is required – this means utilising quieter periods for planning and research and managing workloads in busier periods.
  • An excellent work ethic is required as we’re often very busy as a department looking after our global aviation businesses and colleagues.
  • An analytical approach to work is important as you’ll be working with large amounts of data on a daily basis. We are also subject to data protection, and ePrivacy laws, meaning this role requires someone that’s able to follow processes effectively.
  • As a small team, supporting a global business with 250+ staff, we’re often required to work on marketing projects that are outside of our usual day-to-day activities. An ability to manage a diverse workload is essential
