Working as part of our small, but growing digital marketing team, we require a Digital Marketing Executive to support, manage and assist with our diverse digital projects. From project managing large-scale website rebuilds and mobile applications to leading digital marketing projects for our various channels, this is an important role with lots of opportunity for growth within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading key digital marketing projects for Chapman Freeborn and the wider group of companies.
  • Providing technical guidance and advice to the marketing department – basic HTML and CSS knowledge is essential, as is an understanding of how websites function.
  • Working closely with the Group Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute highly-visible online marketing campaigns – with involvement in SEO, PPC, CRO and web development.
  • Analysing and measuring activities through Google Analytics.
  • Assisting the marketing department with the existing email marketing strategy, ensuring all digital channels are correctly aligned.

Skills required:

  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS is essential.
  • Strong understanding of basic web principles.
  • Understanding of the technical elements of SEO and PPC.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience in a similar project management role.
  • Experience using Google Analytics for reporting on campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of social media & the various social networks.
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar digital role.

  • This role is ideal for someone that has a genuine passion for digital marketing and how the web affects our buying processes.
  • An entrepreneurial approach to work is essential – whether that means researching and learning skills on the go or solving problems when no one else has the answer.
  • A pragmatic approach to workload is required – this means utilising quieter periods for planning and research and managing workloads in busier periods.
  • We are a relatively small marketing team meaning our workload or project roadmap is never set in stone. We’re looking for someone that’s able to pick up and put down projects with agility to suit the business’s needs.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to take ownership and responsibility of projects will be essential. From initial ideation through to delivery, completion and reporting, the successful candidate will need to be committed and able to see a project through every stage of its life cycle.
