Job Description

We are currently looking for a number of Global Brand Managers across categories including; Floorcare, and Personal Care. As our Global Brand Manager you will take ownership for the development of the global brand strategy for your category for the next 2-5 years for both new and existing products and campaigns. The roles are critical in ensuring that products and campaigns align with the business objectives for your category.

Accountabilities

  • As one of our Global Brand Managers you will be responsible for developing and delivering the global brand strategy for new and existing Dyson Technology within either the Floorcare or Personal Care category
  • You will collaborate with the Product and Technical teams within Dyson Commercial (Claims, Insights, Legal) to ensure that the specification of our products will enable our technology to succeed in a global market. This will mean that you are working with our marketing teams around the world to gather insight and market level feedback
  • As our Global Brand Manager, you will be seen as a thought leader within your category, and you will develop global campaigns that will help scale your category through future growth
  • Working with our global markets, you will ensure that local and regional plans and insights are incorporated into the wider Floorcare or Personal Care category strategy 
  • You will be working closely with the New Product Communications team to ensure that brand messaging is developed in alignment with the wider Dyson categories 
  • You'll also ensure that our technology can be successfully marketed at a global level on time and to cost

Skills

  • Coming in to this role, you will have held a strategic brand management or brand building role for a market leading consumer business
  • As our Global Senior Brand Manager, you will have a proven track record of challenging the status quo, and deliver innovating solutions to the problems that we face
  • You will have extensive experience of driving product strategy on a global scale, and have experience working with international markets
  • As a proven people manager, you will come with extensive leadership experience and a track record of developing talent
  • You will have been at the forefront of driving customer engagement and thought leadership within your recent roles
  • You'll also have a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and deliver results through aligned business functions
  • You'll be degree educated, or equivalent, with a 2:1 classification or higher
