We are looking for a talented individual to improve the way we use our social media channels to reach and engage with influencers and build the brand profile of City & Guilds Group and all other brands associated with the Group.
You will develop and implement the social media engagement strategy for the City & Guilds Group and its brands to ensure we have a consistent approach across the business and can more effectively engage with online influencers.
This will involve working with content developers across the Group to produce, source and manage creative content for the City & Guilds Group brands’ social media channels, ensuring they are interesting and engaging, and reach the right people and organisations at the right time by engaging in issues our audiences care about.
A key aspect of this role will be evaluating the impact this strategy has using a number of online analytics and social media monitoring tools.
A digital natural, you will be equally comfortable setting the social media strategy and training internal stakeholders to making quick judgement calls about appropriate responses across our social channels. Your storytelling approach to social media engagement will move the Group away from a broadcasting approach to true engagement.
Your experience in planning and delivering digital communications in a large complex organisation will be essential when you work across a matrix structure. You will collaborate with the Group Brand and Website Manager, Heads of content and digital within our 3 business areas - Skills Credentialing, Corporate Learning and Technical Training to ensure best practice use of social media.
