Contract Digital Marketing Marketing Executive

Job Description

Fixed Term Contract

The job holder will be expected to support the Partnership and Corporate Business Divisions in the planning and creation of their marketing initiatives and campaigns. Responsibilities include supporting the development schedules and delivery of updates and enhancements to both corporate and Partner websites. Supporting the scope, design and testing of developments. To achieve this the job holder will be expected to manage key relationships with suppliers, specialist marketing teams and supporting departments to deliver the desired outcome.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery and schedules across all digital services development and infrastructure, including Partner websites, Partner E-Briefings and corporate websites.
  • Identify and evaluate potential digital service enhancements and developments, Resolve system defects and escalations
  • Support the digital development needs of internal clients from written proposal to UAT & comms plans.
  • Interpret technical requirement and data to recommend digital technical improvements.
  • Ensure security and hosting are compliant with business requirements.
  • Responsible for managing and updating content on our internal Intranet and internal apps.
  • Manage and upload content to the digital marketing estate, including all websites, video, email services, social media and client facing apps.

Requirements of the Job:

  • Proven content management experience across multiple platforms
  • Proactive, flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Proven project management skills across agile and waterfall methodology
  • Strong interpersonal,communication and presenting skills.
  • Highly motivated with an ability to forge relationships within St. James’s Place and understand the business.
  • Support Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and critique ideas and initiatives with other areas of Marketing
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for web technologies, digital trends and innovation.
  • Ongoing maintenance of St. James’s Place chosen CMS platforms.
  • Supporting St. James’s Place digital User Acceptable Testing programme

 Job Knowledge:

  • Ability to negotiate and agree SLA’s against the priorities of the Marketing department
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for web technologies, digital trends and innovation
  • In excess of 24 months experience in digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of using and developing CMS platforms
  • Relevant university qualification (BA / BSc) or equivalent
  • Experience of project brief, delivery and signoff process
