Gap professional are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client, a reputable based company who are looking for a Content Marketing Executive Job Type: Permanent Location:Tewkesbury Hours of work: Monday to Friday (37.5) Salary: £22-30K (Dependent on Experience) + Benefits Summary: You’ll be the heart of driving marketing campaigns across multiple segments for their software solutions. You’ll be supporting both inbound and outbound content marketing creation for social media, blogs, PR and email campaigns. Ideal candidate will need to be a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background and an understanding of inbound marketing methodology. You should be able to develop engaging content to support new and existing customers throughout their path to purchase. Responsibilities: * Work with the marketing team and other departments to create effective content that articulates our products benefits to our target segments * Create content to nurture new sign ups from unaware to purchase, advocacy and retention * Build and maintain a content calendar * Own the creation of content written in a consistent style in line with our company’s tone and mission. You will write clean, concise, well-polished copy * Produce high-quality articles, white papers, eBooks, playbooks, best practice guides, cheat sheets, blogs, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, surveys, infographics and web copy * Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges to create more effective, engaging content * Create, manage and publish content to social * Help organise events, exhibitions and associate promotional materials and campaigns * Write and proofread copy * Share content through various channels to drive traffic to the website * Create and manage email campaigns to improve user onboarding, raise awareness of new features, upsell and cross sell services * Edit, proofread and improve content * Analyse web traffic metrics to understand what content is performing well * Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement * Pitch new content concepts to drive traffic and increase brand awareness Experience, attributes & skills sought: * Previous marketing experience, preferably with background in creating content for inbound marketing * Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills * Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive * Must be able to set relevant priorities on a daily basis as the job requires * Experience creating content for the web and growing social media audience * Expertise in management and publishing content through social media management software * Ability to analyse and present content and social performance * Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress * Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or similar would be a benefit through not essential * Project management skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication and writing skills * Qualification in marketing or relevant field of study Closing date is 15th June To Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or email your CV By applying for the above position and providing your personal data to us you understand that your data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
