Job Description

Our successful client near Farnborough is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Social Media Executive with good people skills to support their friendly team for a period of 6 weeks. The successful candidate must be able to 'hit the ground running' and will be responsible for maintaining and updating various social media accounts, measuring resulting outcomes and success, and will also help support the marketing team with a range of exciting events and general office administration. Key responsibilities: Social Media * Maintaining and updating accounts across all major social media and digital platforms: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn and WordPress content management systems * Monitoring all social media platforms and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner * Supporting the Comms team, updating the website with events and news * Compile regular statistics on your allocated accounts, to be documented internally * Keep the Marketing & Comms manager informed of significant problems that might jeopardise the wellbeing of the organisation, escalating to the Director and senior team where necessary * Attend regular staff and departmental meetings as required Marketing Support * Assist on a range of campaigns and events * Support the team with adding information to the Salesforce CRM database * Support the team with web related research for marketing initiatives * Day to day support on TNT courier deliveries and pick ups * Managing the general email inbox and answering the telephone * Ad-hoc jobs as requested by the line manager Key requirements: * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * At least 6 months managing social media for an organisation * Experience and understanding of digital media * A self-starter and able to use own initiative * Confident and able to deal with a wide range of stakeholders including senior management * Good attention to detail * Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Salary: £18-25K pro rata, depending on experience - £9-13.50ph
