We’re seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our friendly team at our Head Office, which is based just on the outskirts of Brighton, with bus stops and free parking nearby. This new and exciting role will be responsible for developing our digital marketing and take a lead in planning, implementing and tracking marketing campaigns across all digital channels. You will need to be a creative thinker with an excellent understanding of digital concepts and best practices.

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll be working within our marketing team assisting with the planning, implementation and analysis of all marketing activity within Capital Hair & Beauty. Other duties include:

 

Job Description:

 

  • Developing and executing digital marketing strategy
  • Execute email, SMS and automated lifecycle campaigns
  • Report and analyse marketing campaigns and promotions, and make recommendations for improvements when required
  • Create engaging content and shape marketing campaigns to encourage repeat purchase
  • Keep up-to-date with current digital trends, seek developments in the market, research and evaluate new technologies and online media opportunities
  • Brief and manage external agencies including handling budget
  • Develop online presence by growing followers through social media channels
  • Create and curate content for blogs, website and emails.

 

We expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of the business if required.

 

Experience of working in a marketing environment is absolutely essential to this role as we need someone who can quickly adapt to the role, ideally you should be able to demonstrate 2-3 years of solid experience in a marketing environment.

 

You will report into the Marketing Manager and work closely with the rest of the Marketing & E-Commerce team to ensure consistency across customer touchpoints.

 

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A degree in a marketing related subject or professional qualification (CIM/IDM) or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of SEO/PPC principles to support ecommerce team
  • Good skills and experience in creative content creation and editing
  • Adobe InDesign and Google Analytics skills is essential for the role
  • Basic video editing and Photoshop skills are desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of using Ad serving tools desirable but not essential.
