Koozai is a respected Digital Marketing Agency based in Southampton, London and Preston. We specialise in helping businesses to connect with their customers online.

We provide a range of services including SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social and Content Marketing for leading brands such as Papa John’s, TUI, BGL Group and Chef & Brewer to name but a few.


The Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Executive to join our growing digital team in Southampton, London or Preston. A remote, UK-based, position will also be considered.

The candidate will have a proven track record of running successful SEO campaigns, brand or agency side and experience in dealing with people at different levels.

As an SEO Executive, you will strive to understand your clients’ business and any challenges that they face. You’ll drum up new ways to help them drive their business forwards.

You will be expected to manage and implement SEO projects that smash client expectations and deliver amazing results each and every time.

You’ll have the drive and capability to remain at the forefront of digital marketing, making sure best practice marketing techniques are at the heart of everything we do.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an SEO executive, you’ll be involved in all aspects of what we offer at Koozai. Your duties will include the following:

  • Creation of overall SEO strategy for a client’s websites and digital properties
  • Implementation of the SEO strategy; working with a clear and defined set of KPIs for each project
  • Delivery of projects including technical SEO, site audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink analysis and more
  • Working alongside our Content Marketing team (where required) to assist with the creation of a content strategy to add rocket-fuel to the SEO projects
  • Ongoing monthly optimisation of client websites
  • Analysing campaign performance and making adjustments accordingly
  • Bespoke client reporting
  • Managing clients – including their expectations (which you will exceed) – and keeping them up to date at each stage of the project
  • Ensuring individual KPIs are met each month to aid career progression

Required Skills

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least 12-18 months’ experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful SEO campaigns (in-house or agency)
  • Experience in the technical aspects of SEO
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Knowledge and experience with HTML
  • Ability to analyse and improve results
  • Commercial awareness to drive businesses forwards
  • Excellent reporting skills with a proactive approach
  • A willingness to learn, research and use initiative
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Work as a team player whilst being able to work on set individual performance goals and KPIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and literacy skills
  • Perfect command of the English language
  • Proactive approach to workload and new ideas
