Job Description

Due to market changes, our client based in Farnborough has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their Marketing Team. This role will be supporting the important digital marketing and sales arm of the business by working across multiple channels including social media, ecommerce, content marketing, email marketing, digital PR and SEO. Developing strategies with Digital Marketing Manager to support key goals within the business across customer acquisition and retention online. • Equally support the Digital Sales Manager with any International ecommerce activities. • Responsible for supporting all brand UK ecommerce websites, ensuring they are kept up-to-date with new products and website banners. • Own the organic digital marketing calendar for the business by ensuring high quality content is shared and well written captions are used across all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest. • Improve the online presence for newly launched social media channels with the aim of increasing followers, views and engagement. • Create an email marketing calendar to support the aim of communicating with existing customers on a regular basis, in addition create a promotional calendar to support ecommerce sales. • Updating and constantly adding content across all UK based ecommerce websites and blogs. • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in the management and creation of global digital content as well as regularly updating the product information management system. • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in developing and executing blogger campaigns to help the brands communicate their key messages to potential consumers. Candidate Requirements: Degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent. Understanding of SEO and search engines. Experience using CMS systems to build online content would be beneficial. A creative mind with the ability to think of new and exciting ideas to help the client stand out from competitors. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. Experience using Photoshop and InDesign would be beneficial. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proven familiarity with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to adapt to an environment where the norm is a hands-on problem-solving approach, scarce resources and multi-tasking.
