Role Summary

We’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager with design experience to assist us on a number of key projects in 2018. The successful applicant must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced (but fun) environment, able to use their initiative, and keep up to date with social, design and video trends.

Working alongside the Head of Content & Activation and Creative Lead, you will assist in the execution of digital marketing strategies and content plans, creating, copywriting and sharing a range of digital content, that helps our clients achieve growth in awareness, engagement and sales.

This role is project based initially, working a minimum of 80 hours a month from January - September from Platf9rm in Brighton, but has the potential to grow into a full time role if successful. The applicant will also need their own computer.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create, develop and implement innovative social content across multiple clients.
  • Work from content calendars, executing the communications and creating content and editorial that increases brand awareness and drives engagement.
  • Creatively and proactively engage consumers online to drive client / brand conversations and consumer relationships, using a brand-appropriate tone of voice.
  • Become a brand ambassador for our clients, carrying out thoughtful community management that further increases consumer retention and brand loyalty.
  • Assist the Head of Content & Activation in the creation and maintenance of Content Calendars.
  • Assist the Creative Lead in brand development, design and video creation, and asset sourcing.
  • Research and implement new concepts, platforms and tools to drive digital innovation.

Skills Range

  • Highly creative, innovative and resourceful mindset.
  • Strong working knowledge and regular use of social media, with a solid understanding of channel diversity.
  • Entrepreneurial approach: able to own the role and proactively find ways to improve social presence.
  • Driven by ideas, you’ll be able to translate ideas from concept through to execution, with the end customer front of mind.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe CS – Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign / Premiere Pro / After Effects
  • Solid writing skills that demonstrate both creativity and "storytelling".
  • Able to manage communities, responding to comments to drive engagement.
  • A great team-player with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Pop culture awareness, news breaker and a trend leader.
  • Multi-tasking master with great time management!
