Job Description

If you live and breathe ROI and digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Head Of Performance Marketing to manage, develop, analyse and optimise our performance-driven marketing channels including PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Affiliates and Display.


What does the Head Of Performance Marketing do?

You have expert-level knowledge of current digital marketing tools and strategies and you are able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You will lead our primary agency partner and members of the in-house marketing team to drive revenue growth, launch new campaigns and optimise all day-to-day acquisition marketing activities. Even though you are a specialist, you also understand how performance channels fit into the overall marketing mix and you are willing to work collaboratively with rest of the team. In your career you will have had hands-on experience of working with performance marketing tools like Adwords and will be able to spot a campaign that’s under-optimised or a bid strategy that’s misaligned. You will also have sound knowledge of SEO principles on a technical level.



  • Degree-level education in marketing or a related field
  • At least 5+ years experience in performance marketing, preferably in agency environments and in-house
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing large digital marketing campaigns across multiple territories
  • Strong analytical skills, embracing the concept of data-driven thinking in all aspects of your work
  • The ability to be creative, with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of ad serving and PPC management tools (e.g., Doubleclick, Marin, DART, Atlas)
  • Experience in - or a good working knowledge of - setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • A top-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints relating to SEO. You don’t need to be a developer, but you must understand technical SEO
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement




  • Lead the digital growth strategy, working with the Chief Marketing Officer on the vision, objectives, budgets and plannings
  • Plan and execute all SEO/PPC/Display campaigns in conjunction with our digital agency partner
  • Take responsibility for the client:agency relationship, ensuring that both parties are working together productively on major initiatives
  • Give direction and line manage internal marketing team members who work on performance channels, such as Paid Social
  • Measure and report performance of all performance channels, and assess against goals (ROI and other KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise overall spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated campaigns that could cross over with brand channels like Social/PR/Partnerships
  • Utilise strong your analytical ability to evaluate customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
