The marketing and communications team are searching for a passionate individual with bags of enthusiasm and energy to lead our growing team in delivering on our growth plans for both our personal lines and small commercial business area's
As a marketing manager that thinks creatively and positions Aviva as our brokers’ insurance partner of choice. You’ll manage a team of consultants to develop campaign activity to promote our products and added customer value services, as well as delivering engaging content to both our broker partners and their customers.
Day to day you'll be hands on influencing how we best deliver strategically aligned campaign activity, implementing your own ideas whilst encouraging a collaborative team approach, also ensuring we deliver within budget.
Your role will be focused on managing a number of marketing projects seeking to keep us front of mind with our broker audience, using a wide range of communication channels such as web, email, social media and trade press, as well as having the opportunity to meet with brokers too.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team and building long term relationships with both internal and external teams and suppliers, including creative agencies that you’ll work closely with.
This diverse role will help you use and develop a broad range of marketing and business skills to a high standard.

Development and coordination of first class strategic marketing communications and plans. Utilising the full marketing mix including new media across all distribution channels
Actively engage with suppliers and key business areas to ensure that marketing plans and campaigns are delivered to deadline and achieve the desired result
Lead, motivate and develop your team through regular feedback and conversations
You will manage costs effectively to ensure we're focusing on strategic priorities, as well as within budget
Creative approach to your work in both the marketing creative for campaigns & looking at different ways of doing things, not being afraid to innovate and share your view
Development of effective relationships within the business enabling you to gain agreement and approval of your planned activity
Working with internal teams such as the proposition and product teams to develop clear briefs for our marketing campaign activity and work with external agencies to bring to life

Marketing qualification (preferred)

What will you get for this role?
£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
