We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Assistant within our Publications and Promotions team. Working within the Travis Perkins Marketing Team this position will be supporting the national promotions, including Trade Offers, as well as supporting with the delivery of Travis Perkin’ suit of catalogues and brochures. This role will be working cross-functionally with a wide range of departments across the business, as well as with agencies. The successful candidate will help make a difference to the customers front line experience and make them proud to trade with Travis Perkins.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Promotions & Publications Marketing Manager in delivering marketing plans

  • Work with a wide variety of stakeholders from Category teams to Supply Chain & Digital to develop and produce best in class category marketing material

  • Liaise with suppliers on joint marketing initiatives

  • Build relationships with our internal stakeholders to support the delivery of category marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate cross functionally within the Travis Perkins marketing team to ensure a multichannel experience

  • Using exceptional attention to detail to feedback and sign off marketing campaign proofs

  • Support with cost management and budget where required

  • Champion ad hoc projects and support with additional marketing activities as and when required.

 

With your excellent communication skills and passion to deliver creative results, you will build strong relationships and rapports with various stakeholders within the business.  Your drive for delivering excellent service will be utilised on a daily basis, where your well organised and strong ability to plan workload will be key.

 

Along with the above, you’ll also have:

  • An understanding of marketing principles

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Strong project management experience

  • Good Microsoft Office skills

  • Excellent eye for detail
