FundsLibrary (a subsidiary of Hargreaves Lansdown) are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their growing FinTech business during an exciting period of transformation. The company has been established for over 10 years and is now investing to move further into the FinTech space.


FundsLibrary is a leading provider of fund data, related regulatory services and software solutions for the investment industry. We are recognised for the breadth and depth of our data and our ability to provide authoritative insights to financial professionals and other end users who require directly sourced and validated investment information. 


If you are looking for a marketing role with direct access to the leaders of the business and the chance to see the contributions you make come to fruition, while leading a small team, then this could be the role for you. Working in a small marketing team within the FundsLibrary business you will contribute to all aspects of the marketing communications plan. You will take ownership of a range of activities including working with the product & client-facing teams to develop multi-channel marketing campaigns and support materials enabling them to meet their commercial objectives, plus managing the ongoing development of our corporate website, THE Library and social media channels.


Key duties and responsibilities


  • Brand management & image:
    • Ongoing development and management of the FundsLibrary brand.
    • Ensuring a clear and consistent style and tone of voice is utilised across all mediums & suitable for a financial services technology company.
  • Marketing collateral:
    • Lead on copywriting and production of FundsLibrary communications such as company presentations, including materials for services and solutions, sales pitches, case studies, press releases etc.
    • Work with the wider business to define and implement processes and assist in their communication with clients.
  • Web & digital presence:
    • Ongoing development of our corporate website and social media accounts.
    • Developing our MI gathering capabilities for use in marketing and by the wider business.
  • Sales Process Support:
    • Coordinate bids and RFPs and ensure they are to a high standard.
  • THE Library
    • Supporting the ongoing development of our adviser site, THE Library. With a key focus on developing and maximising the revenue opportunity, and building and managing partnerships and delivering associated marketing activities.
  • Other:
    • Supporting, as required, on our industry events & exhibitions programme.
    • Able to lead projects as required by the Senior Marketing Manager.
    • Line Management responsibility for Marketing Executive & Marketing Assistant. 


What are we looking for?

We are looking for the following skills and experience:- 

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a Marketing or Business related subject
  • A Financial Services background
  • Experience of creating multi-channel campaigns – online & offline
  • Experience in driving and delivering industry specific content.
  • Experience of managing social media and PR presence.
  • Experience of event management & attendance.
  • Management of external agencies & suppliers
  • Write, review, edit & publish strong, compelling content for a variety of mediums.
  • Able to lead and deliver projects as required.
