The Role

 

We are currently looking for a Digital Analytics Manager, the role will manage the reporting and tracking of activity across our multichannel business, with an important input into multichannel strategy.

 

With a passion for data; you should also be passionate about delivering the best result for customers and have an understanding and appreciation of how people shop, research and communicate online.

 

In addition you should have an eye for detail and the ability to use and understand data and see patterns in information.  You need to know how to be able to ask the right questions in order to find the answer as we do not expect you to have them all.



Your Principal Accountabilities

 

  • The setup, management, automation and production of all multi channel reports along with the maintenance of databases.

 

  • Manage the set up of new tracking tags (both standard and third party)

 

  • Providing consultancy and strategic direction based on multichannel analytics to the the trading, digital marketing, A/B testing and user experience teams.

 

  • Managing agency resource and overseas development teams on analytics projects.

 

  • Working cross functionally with: Ecommerce, Marketing, Finance, IT, Insight, Commercial/Buying and 3rd party agencies

 

  • Coaching the multichannel team on the use of data and reporting, whilst being an advocate for analytics in the wider business.

 

  • Working strategically on the future direction of reporting and big data to take Wickes forward and give us a competitive advantage.



What we are looking for in you

 

  • A’Level or equivalent

 

  • Experience in Analytics and reporting

 

  • Advanced ability to use Microsoft office (Excel and Word) or Google docs.

 

  • Advanced ability using a web analytics system such as GA or Omniture

 

  • Knowledge and interest in digital retail industry.

 

  • Understanding of Digital best practice

 

  • Budget management

 

  • Understanding of the importance of mobile in digital marketing
