The right applicant will have a strong background in technological applications and have proven knowledge of PPC techniques and channels.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of keyword research, design and deploy PPC campaigns on the major search channels and be responsible for measuring outcomes to report back on performance against paid advertising targets.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with digital marketing colleagues to define and revise advertising techniques and approaches, including content creators, designers, and marketers.
- Carry out in-depth market research to evaluate trends, competitors, and keywords.
- Develop high-performance online campaigns and PPC promotions to drive greater web traffic, visibility, and brand position.
- Ensure all digital marketing activities conform to SEO best practices.
- Monitor ROI achievement and engagement in all SEM campaigns, including analysis of click rates, redirects, bounces, and leads generated.
- Track PPC spending against budget and report back to management on outcomes.
- Create reports and analytical data, presenting information to digital marketing senior leadership to make strategic decisions about future campaigns.
- Remain up to speed with all changes and developments in PPC techniques, SEO policies, and consumer search trends.
Requirements and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to business communications or marketing.
- At least two years of experience in a similar role or as a Search Engine Marketing Specialist.
- Excellent knowledge of PPC platforms and analytics, including Facebook Business Manager, Google AdWords, and Google Analytics.
- A proven understanding of SEO best practices and SEM techniques.
- Familiarity with all major search channels, including Bing, Google, and Yahoo.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Outstanding analytical and research skills, with good abilities within Google Suite and MS Office programs.
