It’s a brand made for those idyllic, fun-filled, stylish and social moments of the calendar, especially those in the summer months: an afternoon by the pool, that cool house party, a long lunch on the beach, early evening drinks as the sun goes down or a barbeque with friends. Regal Rogue is the quaffable comeback for vermouth. Job Description As one of the world’s most disruptive vermouth brands, we need an exemplary Digital Marketing Manager to match. As we expand our marketing initiatives, we are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager to join our in-house team based in our adequately glamorous headquarters in Brighton. The ideal candidate would currently be working in a Digital Marketing position at a brand or agency and be experienced at managing and delivering digital activities across all channels including social, email marketing and online content. At Regal Rogue, you’ll be hands-on with all digital and social communications, community management and responsible for our daily social output, creating and optimising website content and analytics. You’ll need to be a strong writer (with the ability to slip naturally into our Roguish tone-of-voice) and have experience working with images, photos and videos. We are of course an alcoholic drinks brand – leading the international vermouth revolution (obviously), so you can expect to be working at or attending all manner of Roguish events, parties and festivals as part of your job. An appreciation of vermouth is not essential but, of course, a plus. Experience of working on a food or drinks brand is ideal. The ideal candidate is someone looking for an exciting challenge and not fazed by a lively fast pace environment and occasional day-to-day mayhem (particularly when RR’s supremo, Lord Ward, lands in Australia or Los Angeles and forgets what time it is in Brighton. You get the idea). You will report in to Regal Rogue Founder Mark Ward, with whom we expect you to break the internet. We expect you to plan ahead but to be flexible when opportunities arrive What we want you to do: • Daily Management of RR’s Social Feeds You’ll be in control of our social platforms, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube (possibly more later in 2018). This will include managing all community activity, posting regularly, keeping an eye on traffic and other stats and managing paid media campaigns. In terms of content, some will be created by our content Rogues in Australia, some will need creating by you in Brighton with the help of freelancers as required. To keep everything organised, you’ll manage and maintain a content calendar that will be shared with RR’s marketing and PR teams. • Amplifying Key RR Events on Social We’d expect you to be able to grab a camera and turn our many PR activities, be efficient in turning our events into great shareable content. • Managing Freelancers and Interns We don’t expect you to do everything, so we will use freelancers when required. We’d expect you to help us find and manage those freelance resources. We also plan to recruit a social-leaning intern who, day-to-day, will be your responsibility. We expect you to get involved in that hiring process too. • Experience of Paid Social As you know, the days of growth through organic-only content are long gone. We’d require you to manage a social spend budget and ensure we made effective use of that budget to deliver against key business objectives. We’d expect you to report back on performance and be constantly adjusting spend, targeting and content to deliver the best results. • Campaigns & E-marketing – design and deliver best practice campaigns and e-marketing via Mailchimp for global brand activity • Content and copy – design of creative assets and copywriting for digital channels whilst working with the in-house design team and roaming Rogues capturing content. • Photography/ Video – create content for photography and video and create templates for third parties to work to, to ensure all content is on RR brand. • Web – create digital content for web and landing pages and ensure consistency of content • SEO – optimize the website in line with keyword research, content updates, integrate SEO with social media • Analytics – use of google analytics, iconosquare (or similar) and excel • Create and provide content for presentations for internal and external reporting • Support the development of our digital marketing strategy across all markets to keep RR ahead of the rest. We don’ t accept normal! Person Specification: A passion for digital marketing is a must, obviously. As is a tremendous knowledge of the major social platforms and their constant changes. As well as your working experience, we’d expect you to have awesome personal accounts on the big social platforms that prove that you love to share and post. We’re also nosy and want to know what you had for breakfast at the weekend! • 3-5 years in a Digital Marketing role with hands-on experience of social management and overall digital marketing strategy. • Google accredited • Design experience with Adobe Creative Cloud • Marketing automation and e-marketing • Examples of top of trends and best practices in digital marketing and how you’ve applied them to your work so we can apply to RR to set a new benchmark. • Use of CRM desirable • Commercial acumen to create metrics to measure the success of our paid and ROI • Analytical skills with strong Excel skills and a ddata-driven approach • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with diverse projects across multiple markets and able to prioritise. RR operates in AUS, UK, USA and will need local management around key activity. • Articulate – confident in communicating with various stakeholders of all seniority levels and able to draft shareholders reports for all digital and social marketing • Strong organisational skills – we are a small, very hard working team and we are learning what works and where we need to focus in digital and social, so we need you to bring a mature outlook and organisation to set up a strong foundation • Self-learner and not afraid to test new ideas to break boundaries. • A self-starter, but can work with a team. Some days you’ll be in the thick of the team, others you’ll be alone and happy for the serenity to get on.
