Senior analysts are pillars of inspiration for others within the team at iCrossing. This role within the agency is the perfect opportunity for someone with a rich knowledge to drive their understanding of search into advanced and new areas of thinking. Key to success in the role will be an eagerness to share your knowledge with junior members of the team, whilst driving iCrossing’s Search offering to the next level. You should have an interest in data analysis, will love to delve into facts & figures and will be comfortable discussing performance with clients. In this role, you will gain your first in-roads into overall responsibility for strategy on a client. Day to day: Keeping up to date with search news & sharing opinions on industry developments within the team and with clients Conducting thorough audits of PPC accounts to ensure our clients follow best practice and are up to date with the latest Google and Bing developments Working within a team of top Paid Search specialists to plan, prioritise and deliver high quality recommendations for your client portfolio Reporting on the impact of Paid Search activity, drawing insights from the results Attending client meetings, presenting results and discussing Paid Search strategy Updating processes and sharpening our approach to Paid Search Galvanising the Search team with your knowledge, fresh thoughts and enthusiasm Mentoring more junior members of the team Improving department ways of working, client templates, deliverables and best practice Consistently perform at a high level of Paid Search competency Assist in the up-selling of existing clients with additional services and solutions Working on-site with clients to assist in building trust and relationships with Paid Search managers client side Contributing to pitch material and, in some cases, attending pitches Leading training sessions as well as presenting case studies internally Work with a SEO counterpart either internally or at a third-party agency to drive Total Search results for our clients Skills and abilities, you’ll need At least 12 months' experience in a PPC specific role, working with retail/ecommerce clients A deep knowledge of online advertising platforms – Google Adwords, Yahoo! Gemini, Microsoft AdCenter Experience of managing large Paid Search budgets A knowledge of third party bid management & tracking software You should have a creative approach to problem solving An excellent knowledge of MS Excel is essential Ability to analyse results, identify and give reason for variance from goal Examples of touch points with other areas of iCrossing You will sit in a client group, collaborating with members from all departments including client services, PPC, Paid Media, Research & Insights and Creative daily. This may also include international offices.
