An exciting freelance opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing & Communications Executive to join our marketing team. This position is available for remote working however the successful candidate from time to time will need to be based from our head office in the beautiful village of Forest Row, East Sussex. The Rydon group operates throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties. Job Purpose Our in house marketing team provides support to all of our group companies and is responsible for our website, online content (including digital and social media), production of new homes floor plans and brochures, the design and production of a range of print content as well as ad-hoc projects. Working with our Communications Manager, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role supporting our design, web and marketing campaigns but specifically on pieces of work within the digital marketing space. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the following; Web / digital Project management of new websites Familiar with CMS tools / development of existing websites Facebook for Business / Instagram Understanding of web analytics Video Ability to record video with own kit Video editing and development Photography of events, key personnel, etc Communications Researching, drafting news articles Researching, drafting press releases Creation, updating case studies Buyer testimonials Blog writing on issues relevant related to housing, education and healthcare Writing newsletters Creating HTML campaigns including written content, design, build and testing Creating and editing animations and videos for use across email, websites and property portals (and any other advertising requirements) Experience Required The preferred candidate will have an avid interest in marketing and communications with experience gained ideally within a B2B (business to business) environment. You will have great energy, excellent written a verbal communications skills and experience of using communications and marketing packages. It would be a distinct advantage for the preferred candidate to have HTML campaign experience (writing content, building and testing), experience of managing social media and using specialist software (Camtasia, Adobe suite / Premiere Pro, InDesign etc) and good experience of writing in-house and external articles for publication.
