Job Description A Junior Marketing Executive is needed to join a well established, growing Marketing and Design Company in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your marketing career, by working directly with a wide range of clients to help improve their digital and physical presence. This will involve creating content, developing email marketing, managing social media channels, supporting the sales team and much more. As a key member of the marketing team, this role reports directly to the Head of Marketing. You will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team in the promotion of Creative Pod’s services to potential clients and will be responsible for helping to increase your client’s digital presence, by creating engaging and creative campaigns. The successful candidate will need to be creative and highly organised with a positive attitude. Skills in Microsoft Office are essential. Skills Range • Establishing contacts, liaising with customers and networking with other business people • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships • Liaising with designers to manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, eblasts, posters, flyers, newsletters, blogs and press releases • Writing social content for customers, including Blogs, Press Releases, Tweets, Facebook adverts and LinkedIn posts • Maintaining and updating customer databases • Assisting the team in planning, implementing and evaluating marketing campaigns • Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies • Supporting the Head of Marketing and other colleagues Person Specification • Minimum of 1 years’ experience • A degree in a related subject • A minimum of a grade C in Math’s and English GCSE • A strong understanding of social media and the marketing mix • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong copywriting skills (previous blog writing experience is highly desirable) • Strong numerical and analytical skills • A Self Starter • Creativity and Flexibility are essential • Previous B2B and B2C experience • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office • Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • PPC experience is highly desirable. • Photoshop skills are highly desirable.
