Do the right thing for our customers, our company and your career. The UK Brand team are looking for a dynamic and passionate Enterprise Brand Executive to join our small but mighty team. Playing an integral role in delivering innovative advertising campaigns leveraging the Global Brand Strategy (GBS), the successful candidate will strive to make award-winning work and redefine what the Amex Brand is famous for in the UK. Reporting to the UK Brand Manager, this position will be key for supporting the creation and implementation of 360 degree Brand Advertising campaigns across the Blue Box to increase brand reappraisal and supporting broader business objectives (acquisition, increase customer loyalty, Perception of Coverage and Shop Small). The role will have a specific focus on optimising digital marketing channels (Search and Display) and also leading the Advertising Review Board (ARB) to ensure brand governance principles are met across the UK. In order to be successful in this role, the Executive will need strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to take ownership of their work and demonstrate initiative. They will need to be capable of working and liaising with internal teams to develop strong working relationships, and will be expected to manage external agencies and strategic partners to develop and deliver high quality campaigns. Accountabilities: Manage the delivery of brand activation and communication projects to support the UK Brand Strategy with strong collaboration with internal teams where appropriate i.e. PR, Invites, Acquisition, and Product teams Leading the management and administration of the Advertising Review Board (ARB) in collaboration with a team of reviewers. Supporting the ongoing process, identifying and implementing improvements - acting as a brand guardian for the UK market Working closely with the Amex Invites team, to support the promotion of Amex Invites brand activation at key Invites events and wider sponsorships, including Somerset House Summer Series and London Film Festival Strong agency management skills, working with a variety of agency stakeholders across media buying (with a focus on digital channels), creative development, and experiential/events to deliver brand activations and campaigns Fantastic internal stakeholder management and collaboration skills across the enterprise to ensure efficient campaign planning and delivery, and obtain necessary approvals for all customer communications Management and administration of the marketing budget for brand & advertising campaigns, including end-to-end supplier payment and internal reconciliation Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications Required skills: Proven campaign management experience, preferably with above-the-line and Digital Marketing Proactive can-do attitude, with the ability to lead projects end-to-end and a strong record of campaign delivery Demonstrate growth mindset – and proactively looking for opportunities to optimise and innovate Management of external creative agencies and media agencies Excellent oral and written communication skills influencing and relationship management skills Why American Express?
