SEO analysts form the core of our client teams at iCrossing. In this role within the agency an individual can build upon the experience they have already gained, with a more complete and rounded overall approach to search. Key to success in the role will be an ability to put what you have already learned into practice whilst also being open to new ideas and experience from others. You should have an interest in data analysis, web development and will love to delve in to facts & figures. Day to day: Keeping up to date with search news Conducting both on-site and off-site audits of both client and competitor websites to ensure our clients have the most up to date and search friendly websites. Researching popular keywords which our brands consumers use and spotting opportunities to improve their content to meet their consumers’ needs Work within a team of top SEOs to plan, prioritise and deliver high quality recommendations for your client portfolio - from scalable on-site optimisation to complex site migrations Report on the impact of SEO activity, drawing insights from the results and present results on weekly/monthly calls Attend client meetings, presenting the results of your work Support with the creation of quarterly business review meeting decks Work on-site with client teams to broaden their knowledge and understanding Update processes and sharpen our approach to SEO Galvanise the Search team with your prior knowledge, fresh thoughts and enthusiasm Work with a PPC counterpart either internally or at a third-party agency to drive overall search results for our clients Your skills and abilities: Experience of technical optimisation, content optimisation, link management, data analysis and SEO tools Understanding of what impact your recommendations can have and being able to forecast impact Experience of delivering SEO results for clients Strong oral & written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team Exceptional time-management skills You’ll work towards taking the AdWords fundamentals exam (Paid Search) to develop a broader knowledge of the search channel You’ll have working knowledge of off-site fundamentals You’ll have good written, analytical and numerical skills You’ll have knowledge of a variety of SEO tools You’ll have experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics & Omniture You’ll be a confident communicator, able to present your work to your colleagues & clients You’ll keep up to date with industry trends and employ innovations in your own work Examples of touch points with other areas of iCrossing You will sit in a client group, collaborating with members from all departments including client services, PPC, Paid Media, Research & Insights and Creative daily. This may also include international offices.
